My Hometown

I'm from a little baby town called Mayville, Wisconsin! There isn't a lot going on, but it still has that homely feel to it.

The Mayville City Website holds some insight as to the town's most interesting attractions. It's extremely lacking in comparison to a city like Milwaukee, but it had enough to keep me sane throughout my school years.

a bird's eye view of mainstreet Mayville.

My favorite "attractions" are as follows, ranked in order of being my most favorite:

  1. Ted & Grace Bachhuber Memorial Library
  2. Ziegler Trail
  3. Kwik Trip
I love the library because the Bachhuber foundation funds it, and they own my soul! The Bachhubers pay for essentially everything in the town, and their scholarship is the reason I can go to this school at all! Ziegler Trail is essentially the only place in town with more nature than just trees and it is absolutely beautiful at night. Kwik Trip must also be included in this list because it was what sustained me during the dinner breaks of show choir and musical.

An extremely wise quote from me...
This town was incredibly boring in all honesty. Wow!
